Lots of IQ and Pendragon at the moment. If only the third of the 'big three' from the eighties, Marillion, had maintained such a high quality output.... :roll:

You are aware of the fact that this particular singer once auditioned for being the new singer in Genesis when Collins called it a day.... for reasons unknown Banks and Rutherford opted for Ray Wilson on vocals,
a certain Nir Z. on drums (instead of Nick d'Virgilio) and Anthony Drennan on guitar (instead of Greg Spawton).... Looking back on the quality of music Big Big Train released since then... i seriously wonder what could have
become of Genesis if Banks and Rutherford would have made the right choices.. ;)

Been playing Kaipa Da Capo - Darskapens Monotoni quite a lot lately. ;)
Got to say, of the two recent Roine releases, namely this and The Invention Of Knowledge, this is, for me, easily the better. It manages to retain the 'old' Kaipa sound yet bring it up to date nicely. Looking forward to the next Kaipa release too (Hans's version of course!)

@Symfoon
no wasnt aware of that
i think they wanted to be a different band
and maybe they realized nobody can be as good as Gabriel and so they decided to go in a totally different direction
anyway, i dont like both singers ;)
the only one who comes close to the genius storytelling and overall creativity of Peter Gabriel is Roine Stolt ... dot!

@projecKt
The Dears is great!!

Currently playing:

Kaipa - Sattyg

Very much in Kaipa mood at the moment, all versions of this band are great! 8-)

Yes, pretty cool band(s)... :)

But I hope that their next release will bring something new to the table... because it's been more of the same lately... and the production is muddier and muddier, especially the drums sound.

Can we hope for a new album in 2017?
