I've just discovered this band from my hometown... :o

Not "progressive" per se, but very tasty... and some gorgeous music videos:

dont like the new as much as the last one.
Side B is quite nice.
Side A is very full and sounds very electronic and a bit cheesy.
Lot stuff from the last album in there.

the new BON IVER is a great work!!!
Sounds a lot like Volcano Choir project, but more songwriter style.

Yes, Tales from Topographic Oceans [Steven Wilson remix]

Generally, I can give or take Wilsons Yes remixes, but this one I'll definitely take. His new mix of Tales really makes the album shine like never before. Astounding, really!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_2etVjoFNw
"experimental"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0JlGFlhyTM
? :D ... maybe this should be the next category ... anyway, i think the foreplay is sometimes even more interesting :D

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUlTVgx2xmA
HEADSPACE
good old prog metal ... but just a bit
btw, i really dont understand INSIDE OUTs philosophy ... its kind of, someone born 1970 is sitting there and keeps the door shut.

... and heres some more interesting stuff
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5duP3ve48o

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpnK7IAl65g
TTNG

https://anendlesssporadic.bandcamp.com/ ... ic-machine

heres a finnish band with female vocals and they are pretty good ... not that much prog but anyhow ... ;)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S67wX1TB8rI

and heres another female vocalist
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sa9CXTvz7L4
and THEY ARE REALLY GOOD!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRwcaum4P0I

I know what you mean...
As least, they've got some bands to push the limits... like Pain of Salvation... or Frost... or now Caligula's Horse.

Understand that they will most probably also loose their biggest selling artist within very soon... (and no it's not The Flower Kings, rest assured!! :))
